Distler, Hall First to Commit for Class of 2008
The Centre College Men's soccer team has received commitments from two outstanding recruits for the class of 2008. Tony Distler ( Louisville , KY ) was a member of the 2007 State Championship team at Saint Xavier High School . Tony, who will graduate with a 3.9 GPA, joins us from the 3 time State champion and 2 time Region II Semifinalist Javanon SC 90's. 
Austin Hall (Indianapolis, IN) was a member of the nationally ranked Lawrence Central High School team where he scored 18 goals and had 16 assists his senior year. Hall was named the 2007 Marion County Player of the Year and was a member of the 1st Team All-State. Hall, also a 2007 Indy Star Super Team Selection and member of the Indy Burn, will become teammates with his older brother, sophomore Pat Hall. “Tony and Austin bring immediate impact talent to our team. They are the type of student-athletes that thrive at Centre College ,” said head coach Jeb Burch.
