Hall pickes up SCAC Offensive Player of the Week award
After helping pick up two conference wins sophomore forward Austin Hall (Indianapolis, Ind.) was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Offensive Player of the Week for matches played from Monday, Sept. 28 through Sunday, Oct. 4.
In Centre's first game of the week on Friday, Oct. 2 against conference rival Austin College, Hall recorded an assist on Centre's second goal of the match 9:51 into the second half, which put the Colonels up 2-0. Hall then scored the Colonels third and final goal of the game to give Centre the 3-1 win.
Centre took on conference foe Colorado College in the second match of the week on Sunday, Oct. 4. The Colonels fell behind 2-0 early in the match, but Hall began the comeback with the first goal for Centre midway threw the first half. Hall would also finish the comeback with the game winning goal in the second half to give Centre the
3-2 win.
Hall recorded three goals and one assist for the week. On the year, Hall has seven goals and three assists for the Colonels.
Centre continues conference play on Friday, October 9 as the Colonels travel to Memphis, Tenn. to take on Rhodes College. Game time is set to start at 3:00 p.m. |
