Menard named to 2008 Scholar-Athlete All-Region Team
Junior striker Erin Menard was named to the Honorable Mention NSCAA/Adidas Scholar-Athlete Team for her efforts on and off the the field. To qualify an athlete must maintain at least a 3.2 gpa on a 4.0 scale and be an active member of the team during the 2007 season.
 Academically, Menard has designed her own major of graphic design, known as "Design and Culture" with a minor in Spanish and maintains a 3.67 gpa.
On the field in 2007 she was a second team all-conference selection, team captain, started every game, and she has scored 49 goals in her career.
