Terry named to D3kicks' Team of the Week
Centre College junior women's soccer player Allison Terry (Lexington, Ky.) has been selected to the D3kicks' Team of the Week after helping the Colonels to a shutout win in matches played Monday, Oct. 22 through Sunday, Oct. 28. 
Terry was credited with the lone assist of the day in the Colonels' 2-0 win over Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) opponent Austin College, Sunday, Oct. 28.
The junior forward also tallied five shots on goal and has currently scored six goals (three of which were game-winners) to go along with eight assists for a total of 20 points.
The shutout win also set a school record for shutouts in a season with nine. The previous record of eight was set three different times (1995, 1996, 2006).
Centre, now 11-5-1 overall and 5-2-1 in the SCAC) will look to end a nine-match winless streak against DePauw University, Saturday, Nov. 3 in the Colonels' regular season finale. The SCAC match will be played as part of a men's/women's doubleheader and is set to start at 5 p.m. in Greencastle, Ind. |
