Willet named 2nd Team All Region
Senior 2nd baseman Lindsay Willet (Louisville, Ky.) was named a member of the the 2008 Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III All-Regoin Teams. She was named 2nd team All-Region for Central Division after starting in 40 of 42 games for the Colonels this season.
Willet was already named to the SCAC All-Tournament Team earlier this month. During the SCAC season, Willet was 1st in the conference in runs scored (50), stolen bases (26) and hits (58) during conference play. She was also 6th in the SCAC in batting percentage (.408), 4th in total bases (75), 10th in slugging percentage ( .528), 7th in on base percentage (.447) during SCAC conference play.
