Fox arrived at Centre from Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL) with eight years of strength training experience and 15 years experience in football coaching. With his establishment of the Centre Power Strength and Conditioning Program, Centre athletes are now more involved than ever in strength and conditioning.
"Our goal is to maximize each student-athletes ability through our off-season strength and conditioning program. Motivated athletes who have a burning desire to reach their potential will thrive in our program," says Fox, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. The excitement is even greater now with construction under way on the first-class training facility in the new Sutcliffe Fitness Facility.
On the gridiron Fox has established an exciting brand of offensive football known as "Backyard Ball."
"Our offensive philosophy is simple, we want to get the ball to the play maker (running back or receiver) who has the best opportunity to make a play and let him do his stuff. It's an exciting brand of football to watch and challenging to play. Centre attracts talented student-athletes who embrace challenges so this type of football is ideal for us."
