Hayes becomes All-American in three-meter diving event
Sophomore Hunter Hayes finished the 2008 NCAA Division III Men's Swimming and Diving Championship with and eighth place finish in the three meter diving event. The event was held over two days, starting on Friday, March 21 and concluding on Saturday, March 22, 2008. More
Hunter Hays just misses All-American status in one-meter dive
Sophomore diver Hunter Hays placed 17 in the one-meter diving event on Thursday March 20 with an overall score of 357.55. The top 16 in each event earn All-American status. Swimming and diving teams third at SCAC Championships
For the second consecutive year, the Centre College men's and women's swimming and diving teams have placed third out of nine schools at the 2008 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Swimming Championships held Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 13-16 in Southlake, Texas. More

Sophomore Hunter Hays,
Hopkinsville, Ky., is currently ranked third in the one meter diving event and 11 in the three meter. These are the highest national rankings for a Centre diver in the history of the program. For the complete poll click here
Centre sweeps Asbury and Union in swimming and diving
In the final home meet for eight seniors, the Centre College men's and women's swimming and diving teams picked up two wins apiece, including the 100th women's team victory in Centre head coach Dean Brownley's coaching career, defeating both Asbury College and Union College Saturday, Jan. 26, in Danville, Ky. Colonels swim past Berea and Campbellsville
The Centre College swimming and diving teams received a very balanced effort as the Colonels picked up another pair of wins defeating both Berea College and Campbellsville University in a tri-meet, Friday, Jan. 25 in Boles Natatorium in Danville, Ky. More
Men and women swimmers honored by SCAC
Jimmy Tatgenhorst and
Caroline Stephens were both named SCAC male and female swimmers of the week for their efforts during the week of January 7-13. Tatgenhorst, a junior from Knoxville, Tenn. was undefeated in the 50 and 100 free during this time frame. Stephens, a freshman from Louisville, KY.
