Hayes becomes All-American in three-meter diving event
Sophomore Hunter Hayes finished the 2008 NCAA Division III Men's Swimming and Diving Championship with and eighth place finish in the three-meter diving event. The event was held over two days, starting on Friday, March 21 and concluding on Saturday, March 22, 2008.
Hayes (Hopkinsville, KY) started day two sitting in tenth place, but was able to improve on his last five dives to end the day with a final score of 432.90; which was good enough for eighth place. The eighth place finish also earned him First Team All-American status.
