“It was a good opening meet for us," Centre head coach Dean Brownley said.
"It gave me a chance to evaluate the team from a different perspective. In practice they are just swimming against the clock and it was nice to see how they would compete against another team. In the close races we had a good showing winning quite a few of those races. Our times aren’t where we want them to be right now but there were so many other positives that we could take away that I am not worried about the times, they will come," Brownley finished.
Centre swimming and diving will next compete on Friday, Oct. 23 in Indianapolis, Ind. against IUPUI. The meet is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m.
