Men's Tennis News Men improve to 2-0 at Hilton Head Tournament
The men's tennis team won their second match of the week in Hilton Head with a 6-3 score against Principia College. Centre took a 2-1 lead after the doubles when Ben Newstadt and Barrett Freeman won at #1 and Bryce Meredith and Jordan Fitch pulled out a tie-breaker at #3. Seniors Barrett Freeman and Bryce Meredith won quickly in their singles matches to put the Colonels up 4-2 before Newstadt clinched the team win with a third set tie-breaker at #1 singles. Kit Brunner finished the scoring for the Colonels with a win at #5 singles.
