Men's tennis drops first match of 2009 to The University of Charleston
The Colonels lost their first match of 2009, three to six, against Charleston on Saturday, February 21 played in Charleston, VA. The number one doubles team of fresmen Ben Newstadt and senior Barrett Freeman pulled out a tight 8-6 victory and then followed with competitive wins at the number 1 and number two singles spots. Junior Brenton Deal dropped a close match at the number three spot singles, eventually falling 7-5, and 6-4 to Steve Weiss of Charleston.
