Lisa H. Owens took over the Centre College men's and women's track teams in 2001 after being the assistant men's and women's track coach since 1998. Owens graduated from Berea College in 1996 where she earned a bachelors degree in Physical Education and a minor in Nutrition. While at Berea, Owens earned varsity letters in cross country, track, and tennis. The three-time high school state track champion also once held nine school records in track at Berea. In 1995 Owens was invited to compete on the NAIA International Track & Field team where she toured and competed in Europe. She earned a masters degree in Sports Administration from Eastern Kentucky University in 2000. Owens is also the Head men's and women's cross country coach.Coach Owens plans on continuing and improving upon the success of both track programs.

Coach Owens married her husband Scott in June of 1998. They have one daughter Meghan and one son Cameron.
Dan Graber

Dan Graber is entering his second season at Centre College as assistant cross country and track coach. He graduated from Heidelberg College in 2006 where he competed on the cross country and track and field teams all four years. He was a two time Academic All-American and a member of the 2005 Great Lakes All-Region cross country team. He was also a member of the Academic All-OAC team 3 times.
Dan earned degrees in English literature and Religion from Heidelberg College. He recently completed his Masters degree from Emory in Theological Studies.
Jamal Powell

Powell was a starting offensive lineman during his junior and senior years at Texas Christian. He was selected to the Conference USA First Team in 2002, was an All-American in 2003 as well as the Conference USA's Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year.
Beyond the college arena, Powell, has played professionally for four different teams. As an offensive tackle for the Hamilton Tiger Cats in 2006 and for the British Columbia Lions in 2005. Powell has also played for two different National Football League (NFL) teams as a center. In 2003 he played for the Tennessee Titans and in 2004 for the Houston Texans.
As a coach Powell brings two years of NCAA Division I experience to the table, having coached since 2006 at Texas A&M University in College Station. While at Texas A&M Powell worked with three All-Big XII Conference offensive linemen and was mainly responsible for assisting the offensive linemen with instruction, technique, work ethic, and academic accountability among other duties.
Sarah Holman

Sarah Holman joins the Centre swim team in her sixth year as assistant coach. Holman is a 2002 graduate of Centre College with a degree in Psychology. During her time at Centre, Holman participated in swimming, cross country, and track and field. She was awarded most valuable runner and was captain of the cross country team her senior year.
In the fall of 1999, Holman took over as head coach of the Wilderness Trace YMCA Stingrays swim team in Danville. In her six years with the Stingrays, she has built the program to more than four times its original membership.
Coach Holman also spent two summers working as a counselor at Wolverine Swim Camp at the University of Michigan. During this time she worked with the University of Michigan staff in coaching swimmers from all over the United States. In the summer of 2004, Coach Holman helped Centre head coach Dean Brownley develop and run the first Colonel Swim Camp.

Carter Conley
Assistant Coach/Javelin

A 2002 graduate, Carter Conley returns to his alma mater to coach the linebackers for his sixth season after playing professionally in Europe. A former all-conference linebacker and four-year letterman at Centre, Conley earned his B.A. in Philosophy. He was captain of the 2001 team that finished with an impressive 9-1 record and is the older brother of former Centre fullback Joe Conley (`05).
