Beautiful skies lead to great performances at Emory Classic
ATLANTA, Ga. - After a refreshing spring break, the Centre College track and field teams traveled to Emory University in Atlanta . Both teams faired well against a competitive field as the men finished fifth out of sixteen teams and the women finished tenth out of seventeen teams.
Centre's Eric Hack (‘07) captured the team's sole victory in his first 10,000 meter race of the year. Taking control of the race early Hack won the race with an outstanding time (32:33), but was 20 seconds short of his own school record.
