Centre hosted their annual Halloween Bash on Saturday, Oct. 31 in Danville, Ky. at Alumni Gym. The Colonels would lose to Thomas More in three games. Centre would also lose a tough match against Maryville 3-2.

In Centre's first match against Thomas More College the Colonels could not pull off the win in the first game as they would go down 26-24. Thomas More would take game two, 25-14, and game three, 25-11.

Junior Rebecca Pugh (Colfax, Ca.) and Senior Jacqueline Beck (Lexington, Ky.) both recorded six kills. Senior Laura Broughton (Lexington, Ky.) would lead the Colonels in digs with 11.

The Colonels had a tough match against Maryville, as they would win the first game 25-22. Maryville would take game two 25-22, but the Colonels would come back in game three and take the 26-24 win. Maryville would tie the match in game four at two games a piece with a 25-16 win. In the fifth game Maryville would win the match with a score of 15-11.

Senior Alex Headley (Owensboro, Ky.) would help the Colonels out tremendously in the match with 12 kills and 14 digs. Broughton would have 20 digs against Maryville. Sophomore Laura Hench (Lexington, Ky.) had six blocks on the afternoon.

Centre will travel to Atlanta, Ga. on Friday, Nov. 6 to play in the SCAC Conference Tournament. The tournament will be a two day event with the final day being on Saturday, Nov. 7.
