A No. 1 vote indicates the best in a category, a No. 2 vote is second best, etc. We encourage you to submit the full 25 entries in each category, but partial submissions will be tallied. Novels Selections should be 20th-century novels written in English. Consider artistic merit and impact.

Visual Artists Selections may include painters and sculptors from the 20th century, as well as artists from other media, including photography. Primarily consider artistic merit and impact, and to a lesser degree, popular impact.

Movies Selections should be 20th-century, non-documentary films. Foreign films may be included. Social impact as well as artistic merit should be considered.

Musical Artists Selections should include 20th century musicians or composers from around the world. Consider both musical and cultural impact, as well as artistic merit.
