Current Use: townhouse-style residence hall for upperclassmen
A popular alternative to traditional dorm rooms, these student residences are four separate townhouses arranged in clusters. Two of the houses face each other around a common courtyard. Each house has two separate wings, and each wing has three bedrooms, a living room, and two bathrooms to accomodate six students. The Hillside apartments also have a central laundry facility located in the complex. Room dimensions and statistics

Walnut House Apartments (above the Centre Post Office)
847 West Walnut Street
Old-timers will remember this building as a coffee shop and campus hangout in the 1950s and 1960s. Now the campus post office is on the ground floor, while upperclass students live upstairs. The C6 H0 painted on the outside wall is a legacy of Centre's most famous football game, when Centre upset Harvard University in 1921.
