Welcome from the President

Welcome. I hope our site gives you at least a hint of the challenging, personalized education that enables Centre students to achieve extraordinary success in advance study and their careers.

What will you find if you visit in person? A busy, beautiful campus that provides more than 2,000 events a year (ranging from a meeting of the Paintball Club to a U.S. Vice Presidential Debate). Friendly, outgoing people who will go out of their way to make you feel at home. Historical buildings—dating to 1819—that convey Centre's rich history.

And if you stay long enough, you'll become aware of our dedication to delivering timely, personally tailored education. So seriously dedicated that we make the following "Centre Commitment": Students who meet the College's academic and social expectations are guaranteed 1) an internship, 2) study abroad, and 3) graduation in four years—or we’ll provide up to an additional year of study tuition free. You'll also discover, that due to the nation-leading support of our alumni, we’re the most affordable of the U.S. News top-50 national liberal arts colleges.

So, enjoy our site—and be sure to study the travel directions that will bring you here in person.
