About Bookmarked Course Tags and Del.icio.us
Ever wished you could get to your favorite bookmarked websites from any computer? Now you can! Using social bookmarking tools, such as Del.icio.us, you can easily access all your favorite sites from one place, share favorites with friends, family and coworkers, see how many others have bookmarked a particular site, and discover new resources from other people with interests similar to yours.
In an academic setting, social bookmarking services can be used to keep track of relevant online resources, share information, and collaborate with peers. Students and professors can create lists of bookmarks accessible to the entire group. Librarians can create resource lists targeted at specific topics or classes, and partner with instructors in bookmarking useful information for a particular project or paper.
If anyone in the Centre College community is interested in learning more about utilizing Del.icio.us (or other social bookmarking tools) in your classes or research, please contact Lesley Jackson.
