Group Study Rooms

There are seven group study rooms located in the library: three on the second (main) level and four on the third (bookstack) level. All the study rooms on the main level and three of the rooms on the bookstack level will accommodate up to four people; the fourth room on the bookstack level is larger, and will accommodate up to eight people. The library's wireless network is accessible from all the group study rooms.

General Policies

  • All seven group study rooms can be reserved online here.
  • After 4:00pm, rooms for groups of three (3) or more can be reserved in two-hour blocks, no more than two times a week.
  • Prior to 4:00pm, individual students or pairs can reserve the room.
  • Reservations can be made online up to six hours in advance. You will receive an email stating whether your reservation has been approved or rejected.
  • If a study room is needed within a time span of less than six hours, see the circulation supervisor about reserving a room.
  • On the day of the reservation, if the study room is needed for longer than two hours, and has not already been reserved by another student or group, additional time may be approved by circulation supervisors.
  • Single users in a group study room will be asked to vacate the room for groups of 2 or more studying together.
  • Personal materials and library books may NOT be left unattended in the group study rooms while in class, for extended periods of time, or overnight.
  • Materials and personal items left unattended for extended periods of time will be removed. Library books that are not checked out will be returned to the stacks.
  • The Library staff is not responsible for personal items left unattended in group study rooms.
