1831 - year divided into two sessions: Winter session beginning on third Wednesday in October, and continuing for 22 weeks; and Summer session beginning fourth Wednesday in April, and continuing for 21 weeks.
1835 - Winter session from first of October to end of March; Summer session from first of May to end of September, with Commencement on last Thursday of September.
1846 - change to one session per year running from October through July, with vacations at Christmas and in April; Commencement held last Thursday in July.
