TOPICsearch (EBSCO)
This current events database allows researchers to explore social, political and economic issues, scientific discoveries and other popular topics discussed in today’s classrooms. Students can use the dropdown menus for Current Events, Topics, or Lexile Reading Levels to easily locate relevant articles. TOPICsearch contains full text for over 139,800 articles from 4,800 diverse sources.

EBSCO Animals (EBSCO)
EBSCO's Encyclopedia of Animals offers in-depth information on a variety of topics relating to animals. The database consists of indexing, abstracts, and full text records describing the nature and habitat of familiar animals. Within some of the full text, image links are available.
Funk & Wagnall's New World Encyclopedia (EBSCO)
For students and adults alike, the Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia database indexes over 25,000 records, covering an array of topics. Full text for each record may be easily accessed by double clicking on the topic from the display. The database contains various images, offers brief biographies as well as information in a variety of subject areas. This database is updated annually.
Grolier Online Kids (Scholastic)
Grolier Online Kids is a design for younger students that includes simpler searching, age-appropriate current events and easier navigation. Includes The New Book of Knowledge, Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, Encyclopedia Americana, an interactive atlas, dictionaries and thesauri, and much more.
MAS Ultra - School Edition (EBSCO)
This comprehensive database, designed specifically for high school libraries, contains full text for more than 700 popular, high school level magazines. Full text is also available for over 80,000 biographies and 86,000 primary source documents. Additionally, MAS contains 518 pamphlets, more than 230 reference books (including the Columbia Encyclopedia, the CIA World Fact Book and World Almanac & Book of Facts), an image collection of over 100,000 photos, maps & flags, color PDFs and expanded full text backfiles (back to 1975) for key magazines.
Middle Search Plus Online (EBSCO)
Contains full text for nearly 140 popular, middle school magazines. All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). Full text is also available for thousands of biographies, historical essays and student pamphlets. Also contains primary source documents including Essential Documents in American History and an Image Collection of 188,323 photos, maps and flags.
NoveList (EBSCO)
NoveList is a fiction database that provides subject heading access, reviews, annotations, and much more for over 135,000 fiction titles. It also includes other content of interest to fiction readers, such as Author Read-alikes, What We're Reading, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Annotated Book Lists. Includes Children's and Young Adult fiction.
Primary Search Online (EBSCO)
Primary Search, designed specifically for elementary school libraries, contains full text for more than 60 popular, elementary school magazines. All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). Full text is also available for over 100 student pamphlets. Additionally, Primary Search includes the Encyclopedia of Animals, and features Funk & Wagnall's New World Encyclopedia. The database also provides the American Heritage Children's Dictionary, and an image Collection.
World Almanac (FirstSearch)
ncludes biographies, encyclopedia entries, facts, and statistics. This database incorporates the full text of The World Almanac and Book of Facts, The World Almanac of the U.S.A, The World Almanac of U.S. Politics, The World Almanac for Kids, and the World Almanac Knowledge Source.
