MEDLINE with Full Text (EBSCO)
MEDLINE is the primary source for access to international literature on biomedicine, including the allied health fields and the biological and physical sciences, humanities, and information science as they relate to medicine and health care. There are several versions of MEDLINE, with the main difference being the interface. The EBSCO version includes links to full-text articles from nearly 1,200 journals indexed in MEDLINE. OmniFile Full Text Mega
Collection of several Wilson full-text databases that includes indexing, abstracting, and full-text from core academic journals in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences. Indexing dates back to 1984; full-text of articles begins in 1995.
Oxford Reference Online: Medicine
Offers complete content of more than 125 titles from Oxford University Press. The collection includes dictionaries, encyclopedias, and reference works in more than 20 subject areas, including medicine.

Provides access to biomedical research publications including biology, medicine journal articles, current reports, and meeting abstracts. Offers information about current controlled trials, as well as topics in modern biology. Coverage varies by title.
CINAHL
Provides indexing for over 1,800 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health. In addition, this database offers access to health care books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of practice, educational software, audiovisuals and book chapters. Searchable cited references for more than 930 journals are also included. Full-text material includes nearly 70 journals plus legal cases, clinical innovations, critical paths, drug records, research instruments and clinical trials.
ClinicalTrials.gov
Up-to-date information for locating federally and privately supported clinical trials for a wide range of diseases and conditions. ClinicalTrials.gov provides information about a trial's purpose, who may participate, locations, and phone numbers for more details.
Health Source: Consumer
Provides consumer oriented information on many health topics including the medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, child care, sports medicine, and general health. It includes searchable full-text for over 150 consumer health journals, abstracts and indexing for nearly 175 general health, nutrition and professional health care publications, and thousands of essays covering major health related.
LexisNexis Academic
A collection of databases with information on a wide range of topics, including news, business, politics and government, law, state and country information, biography, references works and dictionaries, health and medicine, and taxes and accounting. Most articles are in full-text. Covers 1980's to the present.
MEDLINE (FirstSearch)
Indexing and abstracts of the MEDLINE database. Use the Advanced Search feature to limit to

MEDLINE (PubMed)
PubMed is the free version of MEDLINE made available by National Center for Biotechnology Information at the National Library of Medicine, and offers many advanced searching functions. In addition to

for citations from 1950 through 1965.
MedlinePlus
MedlinePlus provides guides to specific health topics, with shortcut links to preformulated MEDLINE searches (in PubMed) for various aspects of those topics.

National Center for Health Statistics
NCHS publishes statistical reports on health related issues and is a major source of health statistics. Hundreds of publications, including the full-text of "Health United States", are available through the Web site.
NLM Gateway
The NLM Gateway allows users to search simultaneously in multiple databases at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), including bibliographic resources, consumer health resources, plus other information resources.
PLoS: Public Library of Science
PLoS publishes peer-reviewed, open access scientific and medical journals that include original research as well as timely feature articles. All PLoS articles are immediately freely accessible online, and are deposited in the free public archive PubMed Central.

The U.S. National Library of Medicine's free digital archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature. All journals in PubMed Central provide free access to full-text (sometimes on a delayed basis). Coverage varies by title.

Provides free, up-to-date, and easy-to-use data on more than 450 health topics for all 50 states.
