Academic Search Premier: A multi-disciplinary index to periodicals that covers over 8,000 scholarly and popular periodicals, and includes full-text for more than 4,500 of these. Designed specifically for academic institutions, ASP spans most areas of study. Coverage varies, but most titles begin in the late 1980's and early 1990's.
OmniFile Full Text Mega: A multi-disciplinary collection of Wilson full-text databases that includes indexing, abstracting, and full-text from core academic journals in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences. Included are General Science Full Text and Applied Science & Technology, two good sources for finding scholarly, undergraduate-level articles in physics and astronomy. Indexing dates back to 1984; full-text of articles begins in 1995.
PROLA (Physical Review Online Archive) & Physical Review Online Journals: Index and electronic full-text access to all American Physical Society (APS) journal material. Includes access to an archive of APS materials and as well as access to current APS journals. Coverage is from 1893 to the present.
ScienceDirect: The ScienceDirect College Edition collection provides access to more than 1,900 multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal titles, including leading titles like Advances in Colloid and Interface Science and Physica A-E.

Annual Reviews: Contains critical reviews of significant primary literature. Published yearly, this is the online, full-text version of the printed Annual Review of ... series.
Astrophysics Data System: The Astrophysics Data System (ADS) is a NASA-funded project which maintains three bibliographic databases containing more than 4.7 million records: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Physics, and ArXiv e-prints.
Front for the Mathematics ArXiv: Front end for the mathematics arXiv, a repository of over 360,000 e-prints in physics, mathematics, computer science and quantitative biology.
NIST Scientific & Technical Databases: Provides easy access to many (currently over 80) of the NIST scientific and technical databases. These databases cover a broad range of substances and properties from many different scientific disciplines.
Oxford Reference Online: Physical Sciences & Mathematics: Full text versions of more than 125 reference titles from Oxford University Press covering more than 20 subject areas, including physics and astronomy.
Scitation SPIN Databases: Indexes and abstracts more than 100 major physics, astronomy, and engineering journals and conference proceedings. Allows browsing and searching within individual journals. Coverage is from 1875 to the present.
NOTE: Although the entire database can be searched to locate citations, Centre College users will only have access to the full-text articles from journals to which the library subscribes.
SIMBAD Astronomical Database: The SIMBAD astronomical database provides basic data, cross-identifications and bibliography for astronomical objects outside the solar system. SIMBAD can be queried by object name, coordinates, other criteria (filters), and lists of objects.
