- Contains information about and reviews of all English-language standardized tests covering educational skills, personality, vocational aptitude, psychology, and related areas.
- Tests in Print -- REFERENCE Z5814.E9T47
- An alphabetical arrangement of commercially available tests.
- Centre Library Online Catalog
- Contains the cataloged holdings of the Centre College Library.
- Kentucky Virtual Library
- Use KYVL to search other Kentucky libraries, including the University of Kentucky and University of Louisville.
- Interlibrary Loan
- Use the Interlibrary Loan service to borrow books and journal articles from other libraries.
- Worldcat
- WorldCat contains records for the holdings of several thousand libraries. This is an excellent starting point for identifying and locating material beyond the Centre College library.
3.1 Core Resources for Finding Articles
- Academic Search Premier
- A multi-disciplinary index to periodicals that covers over 8,000 scholarly and popular periodicals, and includes full-text for more than 4,500 of these. Designed specifically for academic institutions, ASP spans most areas of study. Coverage varies, but most titles begin in the late 1980's and early 1990's.
- OmniFile Full Text Mega
- Collection of Wilson full-text databases, including Social Sciences Full Text, a good resource for finding scholarly undergraduate-level journal articles. Indexing begins in 1983; full-text of selected articles in 1995.
- PsycINFO
- The primary index to articles in psychology. PsycINFO contains citations and summaries of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations, all in psychology and related disciplines. Links to full-text articles in other databases are included. Coverage is from the 1887 to the present.
- Psychology & Behavioral Science Collection
- The Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection has nearly 470 online full-text titles, most of which are peer-reviewed.
- ScienceDirect
- Elsevier is the world's leading publisher of social, physical, and health science information, producing 25% of the world's scientific journal information. The ScienceDirect College Edition collection provides access to more than 1,900 multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal titles, including leading titles like Behaviour research and therapy and Journal of adolescence.

- JSTOR
- Full-text back files of core scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences. Note: coverage varies by title, but the most recent 2-5 years is not available.
- Medline Plus
- Useful overviews of psychological disorders written for the non-specialist, plus links to additional resources. Hosted by the U.S. National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health. The medical encyclopedia on this site is particularly helpful for non-specialists, providing overviews of psychological disorders and their treatment.
- Project Muse
- Full text from nearly 250 academic journals in the humanities and social sciences. Coverage varies by title.
3.3 Electronic Journals
- Electronic Journals in Psychology
- Use the library's e-journal portal to browse a list of electronic journals in psychology.
Review articles provide an overview of a topic, highlighting the major work and providing many key references.
- Annual Review of Psychology (vol. 47, 1996-present)

- Dissertation Abstracts
- The primary source for over 1.4 million doctoral dissertations (and selected master's theses) from over 1000 North American and European universities. Coverage is from 1851 to the present. Abstracts are available for dissertations since 1980, abstracts for theses since 1988.
- WorldCat Dissertations and Theses
- A subset of the WorldCat database, allows user to locate some 5 million items cataloged as dissertations, theses or published materials based on theses or dissertations including those published prior to 1861.
- American Psychological Association
- The website of the American Psychological Association. Has a wide variety of links to essential information--conferences, APA products, press releases, ethics, journals and many others.
- Classics in the History of Psychology
- A full-text collection of historically significant public domain documents from the scholarly literature of psychology and allied disciplines.
- National Institute of Mental Health
- A wealth of information including news and events, clinical trials, funding opportunities, and information for the public, practitioners, and researchers.
- Psych Central
- An annotated directory of online psychology and mental health resources.
- Psychology WWW Virtual Library
- Links to online information in psychology. The scope includes a wide spectrum of subjects.
