Collection Description
Thomas A. Spragens served as President of Centre College from
1957 to 1981. The large collection of papers in Series A is
essentially the office files of President Spragens, and
retains their original organization. Series B concerns the
relationship between Centre College and the Presbyterian
Church (U.S.) and the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). The
remaining series are smaller collections dealing with various
aspects of the Spragens' presidency.
