Collection Description

Within this collection are the papers of various former Centre College Presidents. The papers are in volumes or are placed together in folders. Family records, family backgrounds, correspondence, announcements, sketches, collected speeches or addresses, and published works are some of the types of materials in this collection. At present only four Presidents have any materials in the collection. There are four reserved sections for additional presidential papers to be added later. The four former Presidents who are included are: Jeremiah Chamberlain, Rev. John C. Young, Rev. Lewis W. Green, and Rev. William C. Roberts. All of the materials date from the period in which the individual was not serving as President of Centre College.

Loose newspaper clippings from the book are also included in this supplementary folder
