"Bayou to Bourbon Street" Headed for the Norton Center at Centre College

DANVILLE, KY -- "Bayou to Bourbon Street" is coming to Centre College's Norton Center for the Arts on Wednesday, Feb. 24. The curtain goes up at 8 p.m. in Newlin Hall.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the Norton Center box office. Hours are 9 a.m. 4 p.m. weekdays, or patrons may call 606-236-4692.

"Bayou to Bourbon Street" brings together some of the best musicians Louisiana has to offer. The show features America's premiere Cajun band, Beausoleil avec Michael Doucet; New Orlean's legendary brass band, The Dirty Dozen; and the Zydeco music sensation, Geno Delafose & French Rockin' Boogie. "Bayou to Bourbon Street" is a contemporary, and hot, musical feast.

The Norton Center for the Arts is a regional performing arts center which annually brings to Centre College a series of important musical groups, Broadway shows, individual performances and other works from the performing arts.
