Centre Announces graduate assistants for soccer, field hockey
DANVILLE, KY -- Two recent graduates of Centre College have been named to graduate assistant positions for fall sports. Sara Morgan will assist in coaching women's soccer, and Reagan Greene will assist with field hockey.
Morgan, a product of Lexington's Tates Creek High School, was honored as Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference's (SCAC) Female Player of the Year in 1998. She is the all-time leading scorer for both the SCAC and for Centre. In addition, Morgan was named to the All Conference first team four times, as well as the All-Region team three times.
Centre's women's soccer team posted a record of 11-5-2 for the 1998 fall season.
Greene, the captain of Centre's field hockey team in 1997 and 1998, was named All American in 1997 and 1998. She also received the team award for Most Improved Player in 1996, 1997 and 1998. Greene is a 1995 graduate of Chatham Hall (Va.) Preparatory School and is a resident of Chapel Hill, N.C.
The field hockey team went 10-8 for the 1998 season.
