Centre names editors of student publications

DANVILLE, KY ­ Four Centre College students have been named editors of the school's student-based publications for the current school year. Chosen by a competitive application process, they will give direction to the Centre newspaper, yearbook and literary magazine.

Adrianna Melnyk of Indianapolis and Ryan Bowe of Nicholasville have been named co editors of the biweekly newspaper Cento. Melnyk anñø@@ñ staff of thña en student editors to produce stories on campus news, arts events and sports, along with editorials and opinion pieces.

Melissa Gilbert of Glasgow has been named editor of the literary magazine Vantage Point. Published twice each school year, the magazine has original student poetry, short stories and art.

David Schrappe of Columbus, Ohio, has been named editor of the Olde Centre yearbook. He works with a group of section editors and student photographers who will produce the 216-page book for a fall delivery date.
