Centre adminstrator receives honor

DANVILLE, KY -- Carol Lunney, director of career development at Centre College, has received the 1999 Spotlight on Excellence Award given by career counselors associated with the Association of Independent Kentucky Colleges and Universities. The award recognizes contributions toward an annual job fair sponsored by the group. Lunney was one of the founders of this event, which has been held annually since 1984.

Lunney has directed Centre's career development office since 1973. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota, a master's from Long Island University and a doctorate from Vanderbilt University.
