DANVILLE, KY – Mike Norris, director of communications at Centre College, is the author of a chapter in a new book issued this fall by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education. The book is entitled Integrated Marketing Communication, and Norris contributed a chapter on the role that college presidents play in setting institutional image.

A native of Jackson County, Norris holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Eastern Kentucky University. He has pursued advanced study in writing and journalism at the University of South Carolina. Prior to joining the Centre administrative staff in 1980, Norris was a teacher, editor and writer.

Founded in 1819, Centre is Kentucky's only school ranked among the U.S.News & World Report's top 50 national colleges. The Danville college leads the nation in the percentage of alumni who make an annual financial contribution.
