Patterson is SCAC Player of the Week;
Floyd and Britt earn sports honors

DANVILLE, KY - Centre College freshman Jennifer Patterson of Louisville has been named Basketball Player of the Week in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference for the week of Nov. 21-28. Patterson scored 22 points in each of two wins and also grabbed 27 rebounds and dished out four assists. The Lady Colonels now are 4-0.

In other sports news, Meghan Floyd, a junior from Louisville, has been named to the third team All-South Region soccer team. Floyd led the Lady Colonels in scoring and made first-team All-SCAC.

Brian Britt has earned football honors as SCAC Special Teams Player of the Year; he led the conference with 15.2 yards per punt return. Four other Centre players made the All-SCAC first team: Kevin Chapman, Cam Demmerle, Rocky Ryser, and Eric Heyman. Earning second-team honors were Andrew Habeeb, Carter Conley, Nate Fisher, Josh Elliott, and Jason Engel; honorable mention selections were David Albright, Adam Browning, and John Stivers.
