College announces student affairs appointments DANVILLE, KY - Centre College has announced the appointments of David Eberhardt and Irene Porter to administrative positions in the student affairs division. Eberhardt has been named assistant director of student life for student activities, and Porter has been named assistant director of student life for Greek life. Eberhardt earned a bachelor's degree at Vanderbilt University with honors and completed a master's degree at the University of Memphis. He worked at Lambuth University as a program coordinator in student development and also in the admissions office. Eberhardt holds membership in Phi Beta Kappa. Porter completed a bachelor's degree at Vanderbilt University and has a master's degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She worked at Wesleyan College (Ga.) as director of student activities and was the graduate assistant in student affairs at Birmingham-Southern College.
