Admission Office sets March 25 as admitted student day
DANVILLE, KY -- The Centre College admission office will host its annual admitted student day Saturday, March 25, when close to 300 students and family members are expected on campus. "Centre of Attention Day" is open to students who have been admitted to enter Centre as freshmen in the fall of 2000, along with their parents. The college will host seminars that sample academic life, perspectives of current students and financial information useful to parents. The event coordinator is Pam Baughman. The campus will host an unusually large number of visitors during the
March 24-26 weekend due to Admitted Student Day and other events utilizing
Centre facilities. Area high school students will visit the campus to compete
in a district forensics competition, Centre students and guests will install
a new sorority and the college will host two leadership workshops. - end -
