Berlin Chamber Orchestra to appear at Norton Center

DANVILLE, KY- The world renowned Berlin Chamber Orchestra is coming to Centre College's Norton Center for the Arts on Wednesday Nov. 8. The show will begin at 8 p.m. in Newlin Hall.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the Norton Center box office. Hours are 9 a.m. 4 p.m. weekdays. Patrons also may call 859-236-4692 or toll-free at 1-877-HIT-SHOW.

Since its debut in 1945, the Berlin Chamber Orchestra has become one of Germany's most prestigious chamber orchestras. The group features innovative programming as well as classic Baroque and twentieth century pieces. The orchestra is lead by masterful violinist Katrin Scholz, who has established high standards for the group in recordings and live performances.

The Norton Center for the Arts is a regional performing arts center that annually brings to Centre College a series of important musical groups, Broadway shows, individual performances and other works from the performing arts.
