Centre Field Hockey Team Breaks School Record Released Oct. 25, 2000 The Centre College field hockey team broke the school record for most wins in a season this past weekend by winning their 11th game. The Lady Colonels defeated Rhodes College 2-1 in overtime at the Kentucky Indiana Tennessee Tournament (KIT) to improve their season record to 11-4. Centre has been playing intercollegiate field hockey since 1960 and twice recorded 10 wins in 1998 and 1999. Seven of the Lady Colonels' wins have been shutouts. Centre will play in the regionals October 28-29 at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN.
