Centre Students Complete Internships

DANVILLE, KY - Five Centre College students completed internships during the recent fall term, including three who were hosted by professional persons in Danville.

D.H. McNabb, a junior from Tampa, Fla., interned at the Glassbrook studio under the direction of artist Brook White. Heather Cash, a senior from Princeton, was an intern with Ron Jackson at the Idea Farm, an international public relations agency based in Danville. Bren Landon, a senior from Iowa City, Iowa, served as student intern with Centrepiece magazine at the college, supervised by editor Diane Johnson.

Aubrey Kuchar, a senior from Crown Point, Ind., interned at the Lexington office of Congressman Ernie Fletcher. Dustin Howard, a senior from Raceland, was an intern with Unity House, an agency that serves at-risk youth.

The interns completed on-the-job projects or research related to their academic program at Centre.

The internship program is coordinated by Centre's Career Development Office.
