Centre's McLain Named SCAC Player of the Week

DANVILLE, KY - Centre College's Chip McLain (Ashland) has been named Player-of-the Week in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. The 6-5 senior forward has had four straight games with double-doubles (ten or more points and ten or more rebounds) and was named Most Valuable Player in Centre's invitational tournament. McLain has scored 61 points (15.3 ppg) and pulled down 45 rebounds (11.3 avg.) in games with Berea, Millikin, DePauw and Rose-Hulman.

The Colonels' record now stands at 6-4 (2-2 in SCAC) as Centre travels to Millsaps and Oglethorpe this weekend.
