Centre Quarterback Named Player of the Week in SCAC

DANVILLE, KY - Junior quarterback Drew Mildren (Oklahoma City) has been named player of the week in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference for his performance against Trinity University last Saturday. Trinity, the number two ranked team in the nation, was upset by Centre 25-21 with Mildren throwing for 307 yards and three touchdowns. Mildren hit on 25 of 40 passes including a 15-yard strike to Joe Guthrie for the game winner with 37 seconds remaining in the game.

Mildren currently holds twelve school records on offense and ranks fifth in SCAC history with 31 touchdown passes. He ranks third all-time in total offense with 5,150 yards and fourth all-time in passing yards with 4,972.

The Colonels will play DePauw University this Saturday at home in the last home game of the season. Game time is 1:30 P.M. (Eastern Time).
