The music of Andrew Lloyd Webber comes to Newlin Hall

DANVILLE, KY -- "The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber" is coming to Centre CollegeÕs Norton Center for the Arts on Tuesday, Feb. 8. The performance, which begins at 8 p.m. in Newlin Hall, features favorite musical production numbers from 20 years of WebberÕs Broadway hit shows.

The performance is part of the 1999-2000 Off-Centre series at the Norton Center and tickets are available at the box office. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., or patrons may call 606-236-4692 or toll free 1-877-HIT-SHOW.

For over twenty years, Andrew Lloyd WebberÕs music has captivated and enchanted us. With such unforgettable shows as Cats, Evita, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sunset Boulevard, and The Phantom of the Opera, Webber has captured our dreams, played on our fears, raised our hearts, and swept us away with his music. Weaving the best of his works, "The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber" will be an evening of wonder and beauty.

The Norton Center for the Arts is a regional performing arts center that annually brings to Centre College a series of important musical groups, Broadway shows, individual performances, and other works from the performing arts.
