Zephyr brings chamber music to Norton Center

DANVILLE, KY -- The distinguished musical trio, Zephyr, comes to the Norton Center for the Arts on Thursday, Feb. 17. The performance will begin at 8 p.m. in Weisiger Theatre.

The performance is part of the 1999-2000 Musica Da Camera series at the Norton Center and tickets are available at the box office. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., or patrons may call 606-236-4692 or toll free 1-877-HIT-SHOW.

Flutist Jeanne Galway, pianist Samuel Sanders and cellist Kathe Jarka have each enjoyed long and varied musical careers. With their diverse backgrounds, the trio brings to the stage an interesting and creative chamber music program, spanning Bach to Martinu.
