On February 2 against Hendrix, Britt broke the school record for career steals. The previous record was 225, held by Centre's assistant coach Matt Vonderbrink. Britt is presently 14th in the SCAC in scoring and leads the league in assists and steals. Centre is currently one game out of first place with a conference record of 10-4 and an overall record of 12-8. The last home games of the year are Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. against Southwestern and Feb. 18 at noon against Trinity.

DANVILLE, KY – Brian Britt (Bowling Green), a 5'5" 160 pound senior guard has been named player of the week in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference for his play in last week's games. Britt averaged 18.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in Centre's three road games versus Asbury, Oglethorpe, and Millsaps. Centre won both conference games over Oglethorpe and Millsaps with Britt scoring 21 points in each and shooting 51.7% from the field.
