Centre cited in book that lists Danville
as one of top 50 southern towns

DANVILLE, KY C entre College is cited as one of the reasons Danville is an outstanding town in the new book "The 50 Best Small Southern Towns."
Versailles, Berea and Franklin were three other Kentucky towns listed in the book.
Centre's history, the School's Norton Center for the Arts and academic reputation are singled out for recognition.
"Centre College has drawn national attention as a premier liberal arts college offering high-quality education for a reasonable cost," the book states. "Its lovely wooded campus adds visual charm to Danville, and its cultural and educational programs complement the towns efforts to provide artistic and intellectually stimulating events for its citizens."
