RELEASED: Jan. 3, 2001 DANVILLE, KY -- Centre College has announced two appointments to the college administrative staff. Michael Chalk has been named assistant controller in the college finance office, and Jamie Elliott has returned to the college admissions office as assistant director. Chalk will be responsible for directing general accounting functions at the college, including billing statements, receivables and the annual audit statement. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, he previously worked at Winterwood Property Management as field accounting supervisor. Elliott is a 1996 graduate who previously worked in the Centre admissions office as an admissions counselor. Prior to accepting his current appointment at Centre, he worked at Washington University in St. Louis as assistant director of the alumni and parents admission program.
