Chicago Coming to the Norton Center at Centre College

DANVILLE, KY – The Broadway musical Chicago is coming to Centre College's Norton Center for the Arts on Tuesday, Feb. 6. The show will begin at 8 p.m. in Newlin Hall.

The 1920's come roaring back with a vengeance in the hit musical Chicago. Based on the 1926 play by Maurine Dallas Watkins, Chicago is a story about greed, murder, exploitation, adultery, corruption and treachery. The musical is presented by Troika Entertainment and is written by the dynamic duo of John Kander and Fred Ebb. The show originally opened in 1975 at the 46th Street Theatre.

The Norton Center for the Arts is a regional performing arts center, which annually brings to Centre College a series of important musical groups, Broadway shows, individual performances and other works from the performing arts.
