DANVILLE, KY—Steven Jamison has been hired as controller at Centre College. Jamison, a native of Louisville, joined the college on Nov. 5.

Jamison will report to the Vice President of Finance and Treasurer John Cuny, and will have the primary responsibility for administering the general accounting of the College up to and including preparation of the annual audited statements.

"Mr Jamison will bring in a wealth of financial experience and will contribute to the growth of all involved in the Centre College Finance office," Cuny said.

Prior to joining Centre, Jamison worked for ATR Wire & Cable Co., Inc., of Danville since 1981. As accounting manager at the company, he was responsible for month and year-end closings, preparation of financial statements, performance measurements, and management presentations, among other duties.

Jamison is a Certified Public Accountant and received a BBA from Morehead State University.
