DANVILLE, KY — Jennifer Ruff has been named the head women's golf coach at Centre College. Ruff will also continue to be coach of the women's basketball team.
Ruff is a competitive golfer and just recently won the Danville Country Club Women's Championship, though this is the first time Ruff has coached golf.
The Colonels will have five returning players this year. Last spring, Centre's women finished fourth in the SCAC championships.
Centre offers nine intercollegiate sports for men and 10 for women, competing in the NCAA's Division III as a member of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, a top league recognized for academic and athletic excellence.
