DANVILLE, KY—The Centre College Music Program will present a "Musicians Showcase" concert Saturday, Nov. 10 at 3 p.m. in the Audrey R. Gillespie Recital Hall on campus. The event is free, and the public is invited to attend.
From the passionate lyricism of Rachmaninoff to the gentle and refined elegance of Poulenc, the Showcase will feature a wealth of music for violin, piano, flute, trumpet, and voice lovers.
Centre Assistant Professor of Music Larry Bitensky says the Musicians Showcase is one of the highlights of the year for the music program.
"We are always so proud of the talent and hard work shown by Centre's music students, and the audience of friends and relatives always leave the concert feeling energized by the vitality of Centre's musical life. It's definitely a must-see concert," he said.
