Nashville Chamber Orchestra coming to Norton Center

DANVILLE, KY—Nashville Chamber Orchestra will appear in concert at Centre College's Norton Center for the Arts on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001 at 3 p.m. in Newlin Hall.

In the decade since conductor Paul Gambill founded the Nashville Chamber Orchestra, this ensemble has drawn growing national attention for its innovative programming, superb playing and unmatched audience appeal. Known for its unique collaborations with soloists ranging from classical to jazz, the performance will feature Nexus, a Canadian percussion ensemble, and Christopher Norton guest marimba soloist.

The Norton Center for the Arts is a regional performing arts center, which annually brings to Centre College a series of important musical groups, Broadway shows, individual performances and other works from the performing arts.
