DANVILLE, KY ­ In less than ideal conditions, Chris Hill won the Praying Colonels Invitational Golf Tournament with a record low score of 66. The Danville native battled rain and wind at the Danville Country Club to win the annual event which began in 1978. Hill recorded seven birdies in route to his first-ever win in the tournament. Michael Hall was second with a score of 70 and Joe Bunch finished third with a 71. Both Hall and Bunch are from Danville. Matt Vonderbrink was low net winner with a round of 63.

Proceeds from the tournament go to the Centre College Athletic Department. Centre fields nineteen sports ­ 10 women and 9 men.
